The above plan of the 250 year old Formal Gardens at The National Memorial Gardens, shows the Formal Gardens comprising three different parts, The Walled Garden, The Terrace Garden and the old Greenhouses section. Ash Burial are contained in The Terrace Garden and the old Glasshouses section, whilst The Walled Garden is a walking/sitting area for contemplation and enjoyment of the tranquil surroundings.
